Cider Ice Lollies

I remember Cider Ice Lollies... oh they were good and never ever lost their flavour. Since they were so cheap (10p I think) we used to have two each and say we were drunk off them before going to the Youth Club! Please bring them back... what I'd give to have one right now... the flavour was unique.. apple cider ooooohhhh! Asda do their own, sadly no longer 10p but still as yummy as ever!

I used to buy cider ice lollies from the Rossi ice-cream van in Billericay after school in the late 60s. Also liked the shandy and the spearmint flavours as well.

Spearmint and Banana were my 2 favourite flavours - spearmint number 1 though, was trying to work out when they stopped making them

Iceland do their own version of cider ice lollies! I bought a box a couple of months ago, and was promptly transported back to my childhood - scorching hot summers etc!

Cider Lollies are still available in the Edinburgh area and remain my favourite. No wonder Scotland has an alcohol problem!

O...M...G... how freaky - I'd never heard of these cider lollies until last weekend when we were out walking and stopped at a kiosk for an ice lolly and my husband got me a cider one !!!! I've lived in this city all my life and never had one - my husband said he used to get them at the same kiosk 30 years ago !!!!
