Grape Escape

This Memory is looking a little short on nostalgia! Have you got anything you could add?

Grape Escape was a game where you would mold plasticine grapes as your playing pieces! You'd play on a board full of obstacles - one which could cut you in half, one which could squish you, etc.

I never got to play it myself, but I saw the ads on TV and always wanted to. I STILL want to play it!

I just fished my old board out of my parents loft - other than some extremely petrified playdoh everything was in full working order (once I'd got my head around reassembling the factory/grape torture chamber) and myself, my partner and our two young girls had a fantastic hour squishing, sawing, slicing and mincing our hapless dough avatars. Cue lots of manic laughter from my youngest, a three year old with a previously undiagnosed sadistic streak apparently! Also think it may have to make an appearance when we have adult friends over - a couple of glasses of wine and this would make a great party/drinking game! Someone really needs to get hold of the copyrights and start making it again, it's far more fun than a lot of the tat currently on the market!

Brilliant, and slightly disturbing. I traded this with a friend for another game. Can't remember what now. Knockdown? That rings a bell.
