Root Beer

This Memory is looking a little short on nostalgia! Have you got anything you could add?

The selling of root beer was restricted to a small number of McDonalds restaurants by 1992, due to poor sales, and stopped completely in 1993. I hated the taste of it, it tasted like medicine - YUCK !!!!! I only had it once and never again, so it's no wonder they dont sell it anymore.

Yep, I'm another one of those who couldn't stand the stuff - it was like drinking unpleasant medicine. Always have felt the same about Dr.Pepper too!

It's definitely the "Marmite" thing, isn't it? Those who hate it just can't imagine how anybody could like it (a cool root beer on a hot summer's day - wonderful!). I'm the same with Vegemite; those who like it LOVE it, but to me it's like eating earwax!

I suppose it's like Marmite really. There's no in between, you either love it or you hate it.
