Ipsos

This Memory is looking a little short on nostalgia! Have you got anything you could add?

Ipsos were 'Nurofen' shaped candies which came in a white plastic box with a flip lid at one corner. The Ipsos box had nobbles on it like a Lego brick, presumably so you could stack them and build things with the empty boxes.

Does anyone remember the advert for Ipsos ? It involved a man dreaming of Ipsos at a train station with a calypso beat in the background. It ended with him being woken by a black woman in a train staff uniform yelling "hey man you're gonna miss your train !"

I used to be quite fond of these, and I could only ever find them in Woolworths. They definitely came in orange and lemon varieties; there may well have been other flavours, but it's too long ago to remember!

Ipso boxes were compatable with lego. My bag of lego had half a dozen ipso boxes in there!
