This Danish super group came to life in 1997 with their multi-million smash hit "Barbie Girl". Quickly becoming more than a 1 hit wonder with the release of their number 1 album Aquarium. Jam packed full of bubble-gum pop classics including "Doctor Jones", "My oh my", and the more sultry ballard "Turn back time".

Love them or hate them, you'll find their tunes irritatingly catchy.

    I love "Barbie Girl." I don't know why but I really, really love it. God, I am so lame. I can't believe I just admitted to liking that song.

    Lene If I recall had suffered heart failure at one point and was told to take it easy. that she did in the centre pages of loaded or FHM or a magazine of their ILK a very attractive songstress who apart from singing the bubbly europop stuff already mentioned (dont forget Dr Jones) demonstrated she had a cracking voice in the track "if i could turn back time" - Not the same dirge by Miss plastic fantastic aka Cher. It's worth listening to.

    I just TOTALLY LOVED Aqua and have all their albums.. i really miss them .. they were great and i really liked Rene too , he was my favourite and i liked the fact too that i they are danish.. (not lene though) and im part danish too !! ROCK ON AQUA !!!! DENMARK RULES !!!!

    I'm not sure but I think Aqua's carreer has DROWNED! It was fun to hear at first but then it got real annoying quickly. OH NO I HAVE "BARBIE GIRL" STUCK IN MY HEAD AND I CAN'T GET IT OUT!!!!

    I had that cd, but I think I got rid of it. The music is rather "bubbly" in my opinion.
