Storybook International

The opening credits started with a cartoon-type jester/minstrel singing "I'm a story teller and my stories must be told..." It went on to have different adventures (live action not cartoon) from around the world, but mostly Europe. The programme was badly dubbed into English but it's the opening theme that sticks in my head like glue! Ah fond memories...

I think it was James Hayter (Mr Kipling) and his rich, fruity tones that told the actual story in English. I'll be most of those European actors went on to make a living in an entirely different type of film!
