Sweet Secrets

This Memory is looking a little short on nostalgia! Have you got anything you could add?

Sweet Secrets Toys were made by Galoob in 1984 and were effectively the girl's version of the Transformer toys. Each of the Sweet Secrets figures could fold away into the body and could then be worn around the neck! In the centre of the body there was a jewel.

I still have the jewelry box dollhouse and a few of the dolls from when I was about 5 or so. The new version of these dolls are know where near as cool as the originals.

It was 1985 and my sister and I had 2 Sweet Secrets between us: a panda with a yellow gem and a girl with a purple or blue gem. I remember, I forced the gem out of my panda and was so disappointed to find that it wasn't a real jewel after all: just a piece of plastic with a shiny piece of coloured foil behind it to give it its "sparkle!" I treated a lot of my toys badly when I was a kid, hence my nostalgia-driven collecting now!!!

I had a few Sweet Secret dolls, but the best was the sweet secret doll house/jewellery box I had.

I had the Sweet Secrets house that transformed into a jewelry box? You had to asemble it and put stickers on it. It was bout 30-50 U.S dollar I think. I don't remember the actul doll I had but I think it had purple or pink hair. My mom got me some Sweet Secret characters from a flea market (hey it was still nice) It was a mouse, don't know what it turned into. My sister got a purple that turned into I'm not sure but I think it had a bed and the Sweet Secret doll can sleep in it. Someone mentioned a radio that turned into a salon I think we had that also. It's so funny to read other ppls message who also played with the same toys.

Hey, I loved these toys too but I am a major vintage My Little Pony collector! I am trying to narrow down what I should collect. I am sticking with My Little Ponies for sure. I am considering selling what I have on ebay but not sure how much they are worth and if it is worth it. I have a bunch of them, including the huge house playset and I have a telephone playset with a bunch of dolls. I haven't found anything on ebay but one doll. I don't know if that is a good thing or a bad thing. Is it because no one wants em or because no one has them anymore to sell??? Any ideas email me at youngnbeautifuln25@hotmail.com.

I think this was one of my favorite toys even if I only had the purple cat. I remember my friend had a picture frame that turned into a swimming pool.

My Sweet Secret was the one that was a high chair that folded down and my sister had one that was a crib that folded away. Seriously, these toys were the BEST.
