Double Agents

Double Agents were a hard-boiled sweet with a gooey or sherberty centre in "Strawberry and Cream" or "Toffee Apple" flavours. They came in a paper encased foil tube and had a spy-related item on the back of the paper, such as a code, for exmaple. They cost about 10p for a pack in 1976 and were my favourite sweet for a while! They were possibly made by Trebor.

These are not the Double Agents I remember. I thought that they were a tube of all black sweets with "mystery" flavours, and you had to guess what they were. Or am I thinking of something else?

I remember these gorgeous sweets, my gran used to by me a 4 pack of these (all different flavours) and a six pack of Claws crisps from Tesco on her big shop on a Thursday night. Great memories.
