Now whatever happened to Galaxy Counters? They were amazing! They looked just like Minstrels but without the shell and had the same shape packaging as Mistrels too but the wrapper was white. A picture of Bambi comes in to my head on this packet for some reason?

I can remember going to Woolworths in Consett with my Grandad in the 70's and he always bought me a packet of Galaxy Counters, they were the highlight of my weekends as a child.

There was also an animal on the bag of Galaxy Counters called "Clive The Camel"........I know this because I used to get called it at school.. I remember another bar called Ice Breaker,it was thin chocolate with hard minty stuff inside, quite brittle....but it tatsed so yummy ..but Ol Jamaica was my favourite, along with peanut Treets.

They had a giraffe on them and he was called Geoffrey. On the back, there were pictures of the galaxy counts and it asked you to count how many there were. THEY WERE LOVELY!!
