Now whatever happened to Galaxy Counters? They were amazing! They looked just like Minstrels but without the shell and had the same shape packaging as Mistrels too but the wrapper was white. A picture of Bambi comes in to my head on this packet for some reason?

I was looking for chocolate bananas from the 70's (rememeber them?....lovely) on the web when I found this site. Oh my.......Galaxy counters have never been beaten and I too buy revels just for the chocolate button ones but there are only 3 in each packet :o( Please please, bring them back!!!!!

Im reading all the above and am so glad people are talking about what I have been trying to remember the name of on my home from Leeds with my mum, after eating some revels and saying 'can you remember those sweets that were like these?' (the flat chocolate discs) mum said 'minstrels?' 'no without the shell' I too said in a white packet with animal pictures of some kind I said like a bird/ostrich long neck thing (I think I meant the giraffe!!) So so, glad I now know they where called counters...I did think they were....they were lovely....yes bring them back.

I've been racking my brains for the name of my long lost favourites for ages. I kept looking up Galaxy buttons, so its such a relief to be put out of my misery! I wish they'd bring them back!!

It's been bothering me too. Finally decided to Google it to prove to my husband that they did exist. The nicest chocolate ever I remember - in a white packet with a giraffe on. Don't understand why nobody I've spoken too has ever heard of them - completely bizarre!

FINALLY! Oh my god i have been asking people about these chocs for years....no-one knew what I was on about. I remembered the small white packets with the giraffe...mmmm. Yes cabana bars were lovely..coconut with melon pieces...I want coconut boosts back too.

finally, people that remember counters! so wish they'd bring them back, loved them! yes, I remember cabana bars too, great! Does anyone remember spangles and splicers?

I'm so glad somebody remembered these sweets! I've been driving my family mad! I can remember they were in a white packet, with a crow on the front and they were numbered. I'm sure people thought I had made it up! Bring them back!

Galaxy Counters! I LOVED THEM. Definitely white packet with giraffe on. fabulous. Bring back the counter! Think may email galaxy now that I see that others share my views. Chocolate buttons were (and remain) black sheep type inferior second cousins.
