Now whatever happened to Galaxy Counters? They were amazing! They looked just like Minstrels but without the shell and had the same shape packaging as Mistrels too but the wrapper was white. A picture of Bambi comes in to my head on this packet for some reason?

My wife has just finished a jigsaw with a load of wrappers from the 1970's, including Swisskit and Galaxy Counters, (though the 70's version had strange bird and there was a striped cat in the 60's).
Anyway, this link has a picture of the puzzle that may prompt a few more lost taste sensations!

I'm another that could remember the swert and how the packet looked but could not, for the life of me, remember the name!
I used to get these for the bus journey to see my mum while she was in hospital, pregnant with my brother.

Yay for Galaxy Counters! I was SO excited when I was allowed them as a wee girl in the 1970s! Also loved prawn cocktail 'Wickers' (crisps), Pacer mints and Frys 5 centres choc bars-each piece a different filling!

my partner cant remember GALAXY COUNTERS but I can they had a little owl on the front of the packet that looked like a proffessor

does anyone remember the nutty bar? It was in a brown see through wrapper, it was like a roll of fudge with peanuts covering it!!!

Yes I loved Cabana bars!!!...does anyone remember those 'old english'spangles??? Yuck!!! I would do anything to have a packet of cheese & tomato or beef flavor potoato puffs again!!!
