Duck Hunt

This Memory is looking a little short on nostalgia! Have you got anything you could add?

Duck Hunt was a lightgun game from Nintendo where you had a dog that jumped in the bushes to scare the ducks so you could shoot them. Then the dog would pop up with your kill, but if you missed both he would laugh at you.

I didn't have my NES until the 90s, but I remember this game fondly with others playing it as well. There was this rumor that if you stood in front of the light gun and "shot" it, that you would get hurt.

Never had a NES but I always used to chuckle at the name of this game as it sounded a little rude if said quickly. ;0)

Loved this game. ONly found it once in an arcade though. When I had my Nintendo 8 bit machine it came on a doulble cart with Super Mario Bros.
