Nestle's Creamola Foam Crystals were available to buy in the 1950s to 1998, when production from its Glaswegian factory ceased. They were a kind of powder that you added to water to make a foamy, refreshing drink. From memory it was available in a couple of flavours incuding raspberry, lemon and orange, then later on cola. It came in a tin and all you had to do was dissolve the soluble crystals in water for a colourful, fizzy drink.
Currently, there are a number of online petitions running to try to bring back Creamola Foam. Good luck to them!

Very happy to see so many fans of my favourite drink and wasn't aware it was sold south of the border! My favourite flavour was raspberry. I can always remember that if you put too much in it would erupt like a volcano over the side of the glass!!

It wasn't banned, they shut the Rowntree/Nestle factory in Glasgow where it was made, so it ceased production as it had 'limited appeal' to Nestle's other customers (i.e. those not in Scotland & Ireland).

Certainly remember Creamola foam...I bet it would be "bad " for you by todays standards, but it didnt do me any harm, i remember, lemon raspberry and orange flavours

Oh Creamola Foam how i miss you!! Raspberry you were my favourite. Couldnt wait for my mum to do her weekly shop so me and my brothers could get our wee paws on the magic tin, we lived on the foam. Ahh the memories, Bring back Creamola Foam!!

i loved cremola foam and i'm still trying to find somewhere to buy it last time i bought it was in 80's please please bring it back.i bet if nestle brought it back they would'nt be able to keep up with the demand

Please bring back Cremola Foam, I was brought up on the stuff in the 70's and 80's, my 2 boys now would love it. Me and my brothers were bad with it though we would eat it like sherbet and mum would go daft, lol. This was so popular and MUST be brough back into our lives.
