Banjo chocolate bars

This Memory is looking a little short on nostalgia! Have you got anything you could add?

Banjo bars were about in the late 70's/early 80's and were just about the finest sweet I can remember. They came in two varieties: Roast Nut (blue and yellow wrapper) and Coconut (pink wrapper) but Banjo bars sadly vanished some time in the mid 80's :(

Loved Banjo bars. All I can remember of the advert is a fella on the banjo(obviously lol) singing " Banjo, banjo it's the one for me and you".....Please tell me if I'm wrong lol x

How the hell they kept Twix and got rid of Banjos is beyond me!!! I've just finished a Blue Riband and if it had nuts in it, we'd nearly be there.
