Ulysses 31 was the cartoon adventures of the infamous Greek trials of Ulysses, but set in 31st Century space. Ulysses and his son Telemachus are on their way back to earth when Telemachus is kidnapped by a giant one-eyed space robot, the cyclops. When Ulysses rescues him and two others, the Gods are angered and transport Ulysses and his ship into the Olympus universe. Wiping the location of earth from the ships memory and putting all the other adults to sleep. They must find their way home, through the Kingdom of Hades.
Ulysses, Telemachus, Yumi (rescued girl), Nono (accident prone robot) and Shyrka (the ship) must fight against Trident, the force of the Gods and their worshippers, in order to survive.
