Here Come The Double Deckers

This Memory is looking a little short on nostalgia! Have you got anything you could add?

Who remembers the BBC children's television programme "The Double Deckers" with Melvyn Hayes et al. It has developed a cult following now and has it's own website. There was a very chubby kid amongst them, who was forever eating! They don't make programmes like that any more!

I used to watch the Double Deckers on a Saturday morning before the Banana Splits. I used to love Billie the tomboy girl and Donut the fat boy that was always eating. Wonder what happened to them all.

I used to love the Double Deckers. I can remember being ill once from school and lying on the sofa watching an episode where Doughnut went down a slide into a "play room" and stuffed himself with doughnuts :) :)
