Skateboards SKATEBOARDS

G&S Fibreflex Skateboards

Gordon & Smith made Fibreflex skateboards and they were the boards to have in the late 70's. Fibreflex skateboards came in various models - Warptail, Teamrider, Bowlrider, Slalom - and were ofter seen sporting the best quality wheels & trucks such as Kryptonics, Road Riders, Sims etc. I still have mine - brown top, yellow bottom with Lazers and blue C65 Kryptonics.

G&S Skateboards rule-they were the deck to have back in the 70's and were the leaders and not the followers back then. I have become friends with Deb Gordon and Dave Anderson from G&S and they are great people and are turning out some great new products in todays marketplace. If you have not checked G&S out lately, I would say now is the time. They have a great selection of Re-issue Decks that are killer. Check them out!

I'm 44 & a mom of 2 boys from Texas. I still have my G&S fiberflex, green on top & yellow on bottom. Green Kryptonic wheels and GullWing truks. I must have had the coolest dad on the planet. I use to could ride a handstand while rolling, a shame video wasn't as available then like it is now. My 19 year old got to see me do it a couple of times when I was in my 20s, but I wouldn't even begin to try it now. What was one of the only movies that came out in the 70s about kids skate boarding? It had Leif Garret in it?
