Galaxy Truffle Egg / Acorn

Does anyone else remember these? They would be early to mid 90s, possibly earlier. There is almost no reference to them anywhere, yet they were the only truffle that I could eat as a child without being sick. These were creme-egg shaped and split neatly into two halves. Each half was a shell of Galaxy chocolate filled with a delicious, firm, non-sickly or creamy truffly-praline. The same truffle used to grace the inner core of the Galaxy Truffles in Celebrations until Mars drove the final nail into the coffin a few years ago by axing them all together. The closet other truffle I've ever found to it was in a Ritter Sport bar about five years ago. I'm sure at one point they were available all year round in the form of Acorns, but later became an easter-only affair in their egg-shaped incarnation, before disappearing all together sometime in the late 90s I believe, though I'd given up food by that point so I don't know when precisely. I remember going for bicycle rides with my mother as a tiny child at dawn on Saturday mornings. We would buy three on an offer from the early-opening newsagents in the village, then when I got home, I would dissect each half into 12 pieces and eat each piece bit by bit, to try to prolong the utter deliciousness as long as humanly possible. I'd eat the chocolate shell first, then truffle centre. god I wish they'd bring them back
