This Memory is looking a little short on nostalgia! Have you got anything you could add?

Bovril crisps were fab. My grandma used to buy us Bovril flavour crisps. I think they came in a white bag and tasted very, very beefy!

    I remember bovril flavour crisps they were delicious! I used to pester my parents to go to the local off licence to buy them as local shops didn't stock them. I have never tasted anything as scrummy before or since! I seem to remember them being KP and in a brown and white bag. Yes, to any manufacturers reading this, bring them back, please! :-)

    does anyone remember baked bean flavour crisps called piglets, they were hollow crisps shaped like pigs.

    YEH! Bring back SMITHS Bovril crisps. I really miss them. No doubt Walkers will ruin the taste though, like they did with the Pickled Onion flavour.

    walkers buggered-up marmite crisps,they taste all sweet 'n' nasty so what chance with Bovril? I used to love them as a kid from the vending machine in the local swimming-pool'cause it warmed them-up and made them taste even better!

    Try Seabrook'S BEEFY crinkle cut crisps got mine in Netto. they're like the old bovril or OXO crisps from the old days. Anyone remember Royal Scott biscuits? Mmmmmm miss them.

    loved anything produced by Smiths -Salt n'shake(classic),Monster munch(legend),Chipsticks(moreish),Bovril crisps(very tasty). Bring 'em back!!

    I will email Walkers if you all agree to email about Smiths Savoury Vinegar crisps too! I have wanted to taste these again for over 30 years...woe is me :o(

    You're right Mark, it was Smiths who made Bovril crisps and Walkers bought Smiths. They could quite easily bring them back under the Smiths name too if they chose to as they still make chipsticks with the Smiths name (I love them too). I agree it would probably just be a limited edition but wouldn't it be great just to taste them again one more time. I bought them by the box from our local cash and carry lol. PS: You must buy the counters, they really are lovely :o)
