This Memory is looking a little short on nostalgia! Have you got anything you could add?

I remember watching this every Sunday morning. It used to feature all the religous hymns and songs of a church service and was kind of like going to church but without the sermon.

I remember watching it when I was younger right after Little House on the Prairie, as there never seemed to be much else on!

Songs of Praise is still running today.

    Sadly, it's no longer presented by the gorgeous Pam Rhodes, who was the main draw as far as I was concerned and tempted me into decidedly UNgodly thoughts whilst I was watching!

    i remember songs of praise well because i was in danesford school choir when songs of praise was broadcast from manchester cathedral.after the rehersals the bbc laid on lots of food and drink at the freetrade hall it was a great time to be young i think i was 12 or 13 at the time and on the telly.ive still never been able to get a copy of the programe.so if anyone remembers it and ha a copy or knows where i can get a copy please let me know. thanks..g_marsland@yahoo.co.uk
