Back To The Future (1985)

Michael J Fox starred as Marty McFly in this cool 80's time travel adventure comedy. Marty's eccentric friend Doc Brown (Christopher Lloyd) invents a time machine fitted inside a stainless steel Delorean car.

Marty travels 30 years back in time and meets his parents when they were at highschool and inadvertently changes the course of history

Marty persuades Doc Brown (from 30 years ago) to help him get back to the future after the time machine has run out its plutonium fuel whilst simultaneously trying to get his mother to fall in love with his father.

I still watch tis trilogy on a weekly basis, i live in England and it is still being shown on a regular basis(itv2 has shown part 1 and 2 in the last fortnight), bet that will not be said about modern day movies in 30 years time(yes back to the future is nealy 30 years old, were does the time go?).

I just thught it was stupid- American blockbusters dominated mid-'80s cinema, which as a teenager who was into continental art films was profoundly irritating. The Yanks never wasted an opportunity in those days to trumpet American brashness to the rest of the world- give me Fritz Lang any day!!

my favourite film of all time. I've never seen a movie that has come anywhere near since. One of the greatest memories i have is watching it for the first time and loving every single nano-second. Must admit though, parts 2 and 3 just aint the same...sorry

The "Back to the Future" films are the greatest trilogy ever made! I watch them back to back to back. I've even recently downloaded the original screen play off the web site. The screen plays were written so perfectly, the acting, the action and the humor compares to none. It's sad to see Michael J. Fox in his prime then and to see now him slowly fading away from a horrible health problem.
