I loved the Impulse body spray ads. They seemed so glamourous when I was little and represented the kind of life I thought I'd have when I was older. I really liked the Dynamique one. It was a really nice fragrance and they don't make it anymore which is a shame.

The advert had Bananarama's "Venus" track on it and I really wanted to be that girl who'd 'got it'!

# Yeah baby she's got it! #

Real grown-up life has not been so glam sadly!

    I was always expecting those impromptu bunches of flowers to appear!! I wore the blue one, although annoyingly I can't remember what it was called. Found this advert which I remembered from 1980. http://www.heritage-images.com/Preview/PreviewPage.aspx?id=1650855

    I dated a girl, the first love of my young teenage life, in the mid 80s, at the height of the Impulse craze. She wore it...and I loved it...and her. The scent, to this day, even memories of the scent, evoke erotic memories, fond and happy thoughts.....wherever you are, Lisa R, you're still my first Impulse! :) your Bob

    Yes, there were loads of these throughout the 80's and early 90's. Remember late 80's one with Neil 'Men behaving badly' Morrissey pratting about chasing a girl he'd just clapped eyes on, just to give her flowers. "When a man you've never met suddenly gives you flowers, that's Impulse !!" . Seemed to remember it been near a carousel in a park?? And the flower seller was too convenient aswell!!
