Child's Play

This Memory is looking a little short on nostalgia! Have you got anything you could add?

Child's Play was a hilarious program presented by Michael Aspel. It basically comprised short film clips of young children answering heavyweight philosophical questions in "their own words".

The children were usually aged between 5 and 8 which, of course, made for some extremely amusing answers!

I was on it too and had to describe cilla black and andrew rigely from Wham. I think i was too serious for it.My sister and me recorded me on the show but my mums husband recorded over it so i am gutted that i dont have a copy!!! I always remember a stupid man with a stupid baseball cap on trying to make me laugh whilst doing the show. I was not amused!!! Also i hated the fact that i had to have a pink childs play jumper because i was a girl and not a grey one!!! I still have the jumper :)

I actually took part in the series. I was the second person ever to appear on the series describing the word 'romantic'! We never actually got to meet Michael Aspel, but I do remember huge bowls full of sweets to keep us happy in between filming!!! I'm still trying to get a copy of the show now for nostalgia's sake!!!
