Cassey

This Memory is looking a little short on nostalgia! Have you got anything you could add?

Cassey was a Pippa-size (approx 7 inches) doll made by Hornby in 1991.

She was like a smaller Barbie, with the usual range of glittery ballgowns, horse riding outfits etc.

I was so disappointed with this doll! I'd heard about her fabulous house that you bought in rooms so you could have only the ones you wanted. What they didn't tell you was half the room was a picture, which is useless if you, like me, have no sight. They also neglected to tell you that you had to splash out for the big base or the rooms wouldn't stay put. I saved for months to afford a doll and two rooms and could have cried when I opened everything. The doll was a scrawny thing with a miserable expression wearing a tacky white jogging suit and the rooms were unusable.

I used to love this doll, I remember she came with weird cardboard fold out house scenery, and I think she was much cheaper than barbie. Good times all round
