The Professionals

The Professionals led to a whole generation of teenage girls arguing over whether Bodie (Lewis Collins) or Doyle (Martin Shaw) was the most gorgeous man on the planet. The action packed episodes with fast cars attracted the male population too, and the show was extremely popular.

Cowley (Gordon Jackson) was the uncomprimising head of CI5, who put up with the banter of his two best operatives. A brilliant cast, with excellent story lines by Brian Clemens.

The shows now seem a little dated, but still stand up well to a modern audience.

I remember when Bodie and Doyle started using the Ford's (2nd Season). Bodie had a silver Capri whilst Doyle had a white Mark 2 RS Escort. My favourite episode was 'Discovered in a Graveyard' where Doyle is shot and in his subconscious, decides whether to live or die... Very eerie!
