The Secret chocolate bar was made by Nestle in the 80's and 90's and was one of the most delicious treats ever. It had a sort of bird's nest chocolate outer layer with a creamy mousse center similar to the inside of a Walnut Whip. They came in a white protective card sleeve and apparently had a gold wrapper with the word Secret written on it in purple. The television advert featured an elegant lady sat on a train eating her Secret bar 'in secret' with the accompanying music "I see her face everywhere I go... Have you seen her?..." Unfortunately the Secret chocolate bar was withdrawn from sale due to the high production costs and low volume of sales.

With all these people remembering them, I find it hard to believe 'poor sales' was a problem; high production costs, and returns due to broken bars are more likely.

i am also like most of you guys.
on a hot summer night in the uk (i know we dont get many) me and a few buddys are sat round chatting and are all bored so out come google and our topic of choice was old chocolate bars of sweet sweet goodness and the glorious secret bar was brought up on finding the imiage it instintaly struck the right note and a few of us bealived in the legend that was a secret bar.
would be good to bite in to that honeycomb outer and feel it melt in your mouth as i did back in the day

same with me nobody remebers them im only 19 and i remember being bought them by my uncle down the shop. hard 2 explain them though from all them years ago. the white protective sleeve is vary clear in my mind though

its so strange how there are so many of us, yet no one we know remembers these!! They were delicious, have just emailed nestle to see if they are bringing them back. My partner did it for chocolate readybrek....and now its back!!

So glad to actually find other people who remember Secret bars, as I couldn't find anyone who remembered them! They were without doubt the best tasting chocolate bar of all time. Already signed the petition to bring them back. Come on Nestle, sort yourself out! United we stand in our cause!
