Garth

This Memory is looking a little short on nostalgia! Have you got anything you could add?

Does anyone remember the Garth comic strip in The Daily Mirror. I think it actually began back in the 50s but it was popular during the 70s & 80s. I'm not sure when The Daily Mirror stopped running the comic strip but during the mid 70s' there were a few annuals of complete stories - the artwork was excellent.

I remember it sooo well, born in 1941 it was a big part of my young days, couldn't wait for my Dad to get the Mirror to see what happened next!!!! I always wondered why nobody has done a Film of him????? Mind you, if they did, they might star little Tom Cruise as the MAN like they did with Jack Reacher, God forbid!!!!

Yes I remember reading it in the 50s and 60s. Some great adventures with a sci-fi touch.
