Cadbury Cabana

This Memory is looking a little short on nostalgia! Have you got anything you could add?

A chocolate bar made by Cadbury - early 80's. (Double decker size and shape.)

I seem to remember it had a vaguely tropical theme so it had in it coconut, glace cherries, possibly bits of biscuit and raisins all enclosed in soft caramel and covered in chocolate. Sounds nice but was absolutely sickly sweet. A little like a tiffin bar.

Did they not have dried pineapple and mango etc in them as well? I used to like these but never was quite sure what they were!

The advert had someone who was a bit like Kid Creole singing..."co-co-nut, ca-ra-mel, cherries and milk ch-co-late"...I miss these pimped up bounty bars!

I loved Cabana too - they didn't have any raisins or biscuit pieces tho, only the cherries. There are so many choccie bars that are no longer made now - not good!!!

The Cabana bar was a childhood favourite of mine, I remember the dark blue wrapper and where I was eating one almost 30 years later!
