Mojos

Mojos

This Memory is looking a little short on nostalgia! Have you got anything you could add?

We loved Mojos! They were something like 3 for a penny and came in different flavours: strawberry, banana and spearmint were just a few. They were a small brick like size chew, and used to make your 10p worth of sweets go far.

You could get milk ones too. These were my favourite, though they were always quite rare in a bag of mixed Mojos.

They used to cost 1/2p each at the corner shop. I think that was around 1983?

Another flavour was black liquorice. Also very similar, but I'm not sure if they were actually mojos, was Rhubarb & Custard - same size, pink and yellow, but didn't really taste like either rhubarb or custard.
