Rancheros

This Memory is looking a little short on nostalgia! Have you got anything you could add?

These were delicious crisps - they were kinda BBQ beef flavour, the only thing similar to them now are bacon snacks sold by Marks and Spencers - not sure who made them though. I also think they did bacon & bean flavour, I loved them.

Rancheros are still on sale in Ireland. Whenever someone comes over to the UK to visit, I get them to bring a few multi-packs. Can't understand why they're not sold here ... they're delicious!

Rancheros, a plastic cup of hot Bovril and a wagon wheel to follow! My treat after my swimming lesson at Swiss Cottage pool circa 76/77 - fantastic! DP

I have just come back from Dublin, where I was thrilled to find them on sale in a Spar across from my hotel. I couldn't resist them even though they were 0.75 Euro which roughly equates to 75p. They tasted just how I remember them, yummy sent me right back. The shape isn't exactly what I remembered it though and resembled a bumpy Quaver. Next I hope to find some Ringos, Nesbitts, Hanky Panky and some Farmer Brown baked bean animal shapes! Happy Days

I was addicted to these while pregnant in 1976. I had people at work scouring the building for Rancheros every day!

Does anyone remember horror bags? Salt&vinegar bones in black packet, a bit like small nik-naks and Fangs; bacon flavour I think and batburger flavour in a grey packet? Also skydivers? Got talking bout these when discussing rancheros!
