Board games BOARD GAMES

Downfall

Downfall was a game for two players. Players sat either side of the upright board and you put a counter in at the top, and had to twist the cogs round to get your counter through the maze. Whilst doing this, (not being able to see your opponents side of the board), you may be helping the other players counter through, or you may not be helping them at all! Now there's some logic!

I'm an only child and this was the only board game I could get my father to play with me. *sigh*

Wow, I remember this. I had this for years. Dad always used to beat me!! No fair! I used to play against myself by turning the board around - what's one to do when Dad's at work and no one else wants to play?! LOL

I ADORED this game. My next-door neighbour had it and I'd go round there and play it. Put counters in the top and one person sits either side and takes turns to turn the cogs. Great game - many hours of fun were had.
