Cadburys Wispa Bars were first produced in 1981. They were a chocolate bar with air bubbbles in it (like an Aero but from Cadburys). Original Wispa bars came in a distinctive blue packaging with bold red letters. The Wispa product range included the original milk chocolate bar and Wispa Gold, Wispa Mint and Wispa Bite. They dissapeared off the face of the earth in august 2003 and were replaced by the Dairy Milk Bubbly, which I might add is nowhere near as nice. Why did Cadburys take away our beloved Wispa bar? We will never know.
Wispas have reappeared in October 2007 for a limited run, back by popular demand and petitions on networking sites such as Facebook. hopefully they will be back for good this time!

please bring back the wispa gold my man said to me two years ago for a laugh if i can get holg of a wispa bar that shows how much i loved him like ya do - and ive tryied everywhere on the snide since PLEASE BRING THEM BACK !!!!!

WISPAs are BACK !!!! I had seen the posters and thought I would try one after it has been ages since they been around. Somehow didnt quite feel the same however. I have a feeling they are slightly thinner than before but not certain on that. Took me goin in to 2 shops to find one so they aint everywhere quite yet. Lets have your thoughts....

Wispas are back !!!! Somehow they dont taste quite as good as they used to. Cant put my finger on it why, but after going to 2 shops this morning I found one and it didnt quite seem the same as before. I have a feeling it isnt as chunky as it was before but that mite be me. Opinions ????

WOW, Seen them in M&S today and had to buy a handfull of these little beauties, must say they've gone already, nice to see they tatse the same as yrs ago.
Im gona pop back tomorrow to get more.
Keep on buying them guys as Cadbury may keep these going longterm if they get enough sales.
