Yawnies

This Memory is looking a little short on nostalgia! Have you got anything you could add?

The Yawnies were puppets that you would use your two fingers in the back of their head to open their mouth and make them yawn. There were several different animals, my favorite was the Pink Rabbit. There was also a Purple Mouse, Orange and Red Cat, and a Blue Dog... I think that is all the types of critters.

I am looking for the bunny yawnie or any other one available, as my daughter had it and would so like to replace it for her 28th birthday---it got lost along the way! I still have the kitty nite yawnie she gave me one Christmas when we didn't have money, and I gave her my favorite teddy bear! I STILL sleep with my kat! Please email me at bunnyfoofoo56@yahoo.ca if anyone could help me. Thank you!

My daughter had all the yawnies, one Christmas we had no money so she gave me her kitty one and I gave her my old teddy bear (I still sleep with my yawnie kat!) NOW I am looking to replace at least some of the yawnies she had for her 28th birthday, especially the bunny. If anyone has any help, please email me at bunnyfoofoo56@yahoo.ca. I would so appreciate it!

I too still have my yawnie, he's the 14" version of Snoozey The Bear, the light green one with dark green splodges. As a kid I had always thought he was a cat and I had named him Yawnie, not knowing until recently that that was actually the brand name. Yawnie has always been my favourite toy ever since i was very young, and I took him absolutely everywhere with me, explaining why he is now rather worn. As a kid he also lived in my bed and he was perfect size for cuddling cause my arm fitted perfectly into the space in his mouth. I would love to get my hands on another yawnie to give to my kids if i have any in the future so that they can enjoy yawnies as much as i did.

Does anyone remember the rest of their names? There was Nighty the Dog, Slumber the Cat, Cuddly the Mouse, and was the Lion Dreamy? What about the pink rabbit and green bear?
