Triffic Bars

This Memory is looking a little short on nostalgia! Have you got anything you could add?

I remember buying Triffic bars off our ice cream man when I was young. They were long toffee bars covered in chocolate and they were gorgeous. The late actor Mike Reid used to advertise them but it seems to be only me that remembers them.Triffic Bars weren't around long but oh, they were nice!

I opened a debate on Facebook last year to see if anyone could remember the name. I said I thought they were triffic but no one else seemed to remember.

My first tooth came out in a Triffic bar :) Would have been about 1975 and it was bought from a vending machine at Northolt Swimming Baths (the bar, not the tooth). I seem to remember a blue wrapper... Simon

Yes. I too remember them. I've been looking to see if anyone else did. They were my favourite and I thought they were a slim bar of nougat with a thin coating of chocolate. I would like to see a picture of the wrapper. I seem to recall an image of a bull?
