Trick Track

TrickTrack was made by Triang and was a set of 2 cars and a number of loose bits of track. The idea was that you set the cars going by pressing a button on the top of the battery powered car and then drop bits of track in front of the car to change the direction thus allowing the car to go where you wanted and not on a fixed track, hours of fun going round mums legs in the kitchen and back to the lounge. There were different sets mine had the 'teeter totter' which was a ramp much like a 'see saw' and a 'auto turn round garage' which was a turn table powered by a wound up elastic band that was activated by the car hitting a trigger no batteries just replace the band if it snapped. I don't think it was as popular as scalextric but possibly more fun as you didn't have to keep putting the car back on the track, and only used batteries in the car no other power supply was needed so you could take it anywhere even outside which during the summer was great fun.
