Sherbet Dip-Dab

This Memory is looking a little short on nostalgia! Have you got anything you could add?

A sachet of sherbet with a lollipop. The idea was to suck the lollipop then dip it in the sherbet and then the sherbet would stick to the lollipop. Mmmmm sherbet...

I also loved these! Cor blimey this is making me crave one now. The problem was the lolly rarely lasted to the end of the sherbet! So u used to have to stick your finger in it! Which was never a problem when I was kid!!

I seem to remember that the lolly was made out of toffee; probably about the size and thickness of a £1 coin

I bought one of those from Asda a couple of days ago. Still brilliant! Have to say, it would be so much better if the stick was made of plastic rather than whatever it is made out of, it goes all fuzzy and horrible when you've been sucking on the lolly for ages.

What a lotta fun - you dip in and out, but don't shake it all about cos sherbert flies everywhere. The more sherbert you manage to scoop up, the better the explosion in your mouth...and you finish with such a sweet, suckable lolly!
