Brush Strokes

Staring Karl Howman - now more famous (in fact now only known for) the Flash commercials. Karl played Jacko, a "loveable rogue" painter who worked for Lionel (played by one the guys from The Vicar of Dibley if I remember right?).

Lionels wife (Veronica) had a bit of a thing for Jacko, but he was more interested in hitting it off with their daughter (whose name escapes me now, but I remember the actress changed after series one and the first was so much better looking!).

Later series saw Lionel killed off and Veronica become the owner of the firm. Seem to remember it being funny... but then it was a long time ago and I was so much younger!

The original Lesley was played by Rosalind Landor (also in Catseyes). Lionel's catchphrase was "In 'ere, you!".
