Zip The Monkey

Aaaah! Zip the monkey was one of my favourite childhood cuddlies. He was a colourful, cheeky little chap that wore red dungarees and a yellow t-shirt with his name on it. He was, I believe, fashioned after the live chimp, Zippy, from Howdy Doody Show. He came in lots of different sizes. Unfortunately, there were a few poor imitations floating around in the 70s, as the original Zip was a bit on the pricey side. But he was worth every penny!

All thanks to Dr sikama. he is the most powerful spell caster i have ever known just in 48hrs my happiness was restore.. i promise to testify so i am glad testifying about his great spell. with Dr sikama your problems are gone. Email drsikama@gmail.com Hello, my name Hanny Shaphiss. After being in relationship with my husband for years, he broke up with me. I did everything within my reach to bring him back but all was in vain, I wanted him back so badly because of the love I had for him, I begged him with everything, I made promises but he refused. I explained my problem to my friend and she suggested that I should rather contact a spell caster that could help me cast a spell to bring him back , I had no choice than to try it. I messaged the spell caster, and he assured me there was no problem and that everything will be okay before three days. He cast the spell and surprisingly on the second day, my husband called me. I was so surprised, I answered the call and all he said was that he was so sorry for everything that had happened He wanted me to return to him. He also said he loved me so much. I was so happy and went to him that was how we started living together happily again. I had Zip as a child, my mom gave him to me when I was about 1 yr old. When I was 5 he got left outside, it rained that night. Zip didn't make it. As hard as my mom tried, he molded, so we had a funeral for him and buried him in the back yard. I was devastated. So traumatized I still cry. My husband and I went to an antique store near our home one day several years ago and as I was walking up the sidewalk I spotted him. ZIP! They had him sitting in a display by the front door. I grabbed him and hugged him and cried my eyes out, so happy. The owner said "he belongs to you, please take him home. Never has a customer made me so happy." Refused to take a dime for him. He's naked, so I'm trying to find his original outfit, no luck yet. I bought Zippy, the white female so Zip has a partner. Love my Zip.

I had one of these when I was about five. I loved that thing more than it would seem possible for a five year old. Now... enter the abusive piece of garbage step-father.... I did something to anger him (don't even remember what it was, but how bad could a five year old really screw up?), so he said, "Bring me Zip!". I immediately started bawling and pleading with my mom to step in and put the brakes on whatever this dude had planned. "You heard your father!" (no, he isn't my father!). I bring my old buddy to him and he tore the freaking rubber face clean off of Zip. Then he told me to go put Zip in the garbage can outside for the garbage men to take away. Pretty traumatic! I'm damn near 50 years old and still think about that day at least every month or so. Well, today I got on Ebay and bought myself an early Christmas present. "VTG RUSHTON 16" Plush With Rubber Face ZIP Zippy Monkey From Howdy Doody Show". Only set me back $50. People will probably look at me sideways when they see him (he is going to be displayed proudly and conspicuously in my bachelor pad). So anyway, yeah, Zip is the absolute coolest best friend a 50 year old 5 year old could have.

I just found my old Zip doll and am cleaning him up to pass on to my daughter! I never had any clue that he was so well known! I had him coming home from the hospital when I was born and loved him SO much, I don't think he has an original seam left! This makes passing him on to my daughter SO much more special!

Well I have and still have the Monkey zip. I got him on my first Christmas Dec, 1963. And since then I had carried that Monkey every where I went. He was my long time friend and still is. I have had him since I was a infant at 11 months old!! Am 44 and so is my Monkey zip. I used to fed him pretend apples and all too. I dressed him in all sorts of diffrent outfits just like he was a baby. He is so old his fur is fading off him but, he is still my buddy!
