Bovril Crisps

This Memory is looking a little short on nostalgia! Have you got anything you could add?

Bovril crisps were fab. My grandma used to buy us Bovril flavour crisps. I think they came in a white bag and tasted very, very beefy!

I believe Bovril crisps were made by smiths crisps who were bought ot by walkers crisps who are owned by PepsiCo I think. I was born in 1968 and my Nan (grandmother) used to buy us a pack of Bovril crisps when we would vist and stay with her at weekend once a month and during school hols. Absolutely loved them, just thinking about them brings back warm memories of growing up in the UK in the 70's. Whoever bought them out please, please, please pretty please bring back Bovril crisps. If you do I will love and adore Whoever ok's it until the day I die!!

I loved Smiths Bovril crisps. On a Saturday morning around the age of 10 I would go up to the local newsagents with my pocket money and buy a packet of bovril crisps, choc peanut poppets and the latest issue of Action comic!

I loved Bovril crisps too. Also remember Roast Beef by I think Golden Wonder?! When I first started school in 1960 my mum used to give me Smiths crisps with the little blue twist of salt - crisps used to taste better then.

I've found one that's similar (emphasise the "similar" here) to the old Bovril crisps - Roast Ox crisps made by Real Crisps. Don't worry if you're veggie - There's no ox in them, so you won't be abusing your body or the world you live in!
