I remember them as a tuck shop staple way back..I also recall as a small kid (60's) getting a similar product freshly fried at an exhibition stall in Glasgow's Kelvin hall..don't recall the event..I just took a nostalgic interest in seeing were they still available,having tried the " fry your own" prawn crackers!
