I remember Pan Yan very well. Unable to find it for many years (always used to buy it at Xmas). The nearest alternative I found is Heinz Ploughman's Pickle. Even that is becoming difficult to find at Xmas in the supermarkets. All the other pickles have garlic in which I detest,
