The Krankies

One of the strangest (and most disturbing) double acts in television history, the Krankies were essentially a Scottish husband and wife team masquerading as a father and his unruly child under the premise of children's entertainment. Standing at only 4'5", grown woman Jannette played Wee Jimmy Krankie, cheeky Dennis the Menace style schoolboy with the catchphrase "Fandabidozi" (to be screeched continuously). After two early eighties TV forays "The Krankies Club" and "The Krankies Elektronik Komik" children of the UK finally came to their senses and banished them to panto forever.
