The Kids from 47A

Does anyone remember a programme which would be on in the mid to late seventies about a family (two girls and a boy I think) that were left on their own in a flat and had to fend for themselves. Only the oldest sister worked, and they had to protect themselves from the authorities finding out and trying to split them up? It was on around tea-time.

I too am very relieved that I'm not the only one to remember it! Jess, Binny George and Willy; I could be wrong but I think the actress who played Jess went on to be in Flambards- anyone remember that?!!

Yes I remember The Kids from 47a, probably long before I ought to have done, I was only about 2 and a half or three when it came on in early 1974 and later on in the same year, It's the wacky tune which sticks out in my head, kind of Banjoey type thing.
