Take Another Look

This was a science programme aired on the BBC on Saturday mornings around 1977, mainly aimed at kids, but it was suitable for any age group as it had a rather direct style and didn't patronise the viewer. It focused on our everyday banalities such as boiling a kettle, but would go into the whole procedure in more detail using special effects that were quite avante-garde at the time.

I used to love watching this as a kid, but normally I never see any mention of it. I was so shocked at watching peoples knee caps as they ran down stairs that I vowed to never do it again personally. I even liked the jaunty title music. Great eye opener of a show.
