Popoids were a construction set consisting of weird plastic shapes with stretchy, bendy tubes to connect the pieces. The biggest attraction was the strange noise the tubes made as you stretched them out. There were different sets avaliable, although they all really looked like robots whatever you made. I had a set of Popoids for my fifth birthday and I loved them.

    When I was in the 3rd grade my father put my sister and and me to bed and left the piece that looks like an eye ball on my dresser, and said "Don't get up, I have an eye on you!". I know it's corny but I watched that stupid eye ball untill I finally fell asleep. We still laugh about it today.
