I nagged my mum so much for Pippa when I was aout 11 yrs because my friend had dolls and I wanted one of my own. My mum spend ages looking everywhere for one for me, (this must have been around 81 when Pippa was disappearing from shops). My mum looked all around the toy shops and eventually found the last Pippa doll on the shelf in a store the last Pippa on the shelf (3rd ed Pippa) which she gave to me and I loved her and cherished her. However, my step dad (who was a bit of a clean freak) years later forced me to put my Pippa dolls etc in the attic because I wasn't immediately playing with them (I still really wanted to keep them, but at the time I was playing with something else) and weeks later when I wanted my dolls back, my step dad has got rid of them to a charity home or something. I was devistated, horrified, deeply traumatised for ever. So now, at 37, last Christmas my husband bought me the best Christmas prezzie ever - he bought me an exact replicar of MY Pippa and hand made a box and gave it to me as a prezzie - wow the best prezzie ever!!!!! However, I have now taken an interest in buying some more Pippa dolls and would like to keep them for my daughter and also would like to try and customise them in view of making them better - what I mean by this is replacing hair etc if been abused etc. Thanks for listening to my story - toys really do effect people for the rest of their lives...

The best bit, was collecting the petals on the back of the box, and when you had enough, rushing to that favourite shop, which seemed to sell millions, and getting your free doll. Wow! Best feeling you could have!

I had about 15 Pippa dolls, and quite foolishly swapped them with my cousin for a Tiny tears. I really regretted doing that, and have been missing them for the past 28 Years! So have been buying them on eBay, and won't stop till i get the whole collection again. Shame about the price i have to pay for them though!! Wish i'd held on to them now, but its a great feeling holding them again !!

Me and my friend used to have Pippa dolls, she had navy trousers and an orange top. We used make her dresses out of scrap fabric and tie them round the middle with wool, lol. Pippa had other friends, one was Britt she had a darkish complexion I think. I remember Pippa been really cheap to buy.

I had a few Pippa dolls and the carry case they were the business in their lovely outfits - I wish I had kept them - I am busy trying to collect them at the moment. I currently have 2 Maries, 1 Tammy, 2 Pippa's. I'm trying to get Mandy but keep losing the auctions as I'm usually at work etc.

They all had long hair and a variety of clothes to buy. I loved them and wouldn't go anywhere without them

My sister and I both got a princess pippa in her green sparkly dress with long long hair for our Christmas one year and we were the happiest little girls! I'm trying to get my sister the same doll for xmas this year but the prices are phenomenal! Wish we'd hung on to ours now... I have two wee girls of my own now and they are into Bratz in a big way but in my opinion nothing can beat the innocence of the tiny wee green princess (who thought green was the ideal colour for a princess oufit??!!) and the fun me and my sisi had day after day with those two tiny dollies!

Pippa was about half the size of barbie or sindy. I remember a red skirt and poncho outfit she had in red cord material.
