Maradona's "Hand of God" goal during the 1986 World Cup against England was possibly one of the most remembered goals in all of World Cup history.

Also, don't forget the follow-up goal by the very same player, when he ran through an entire half of the field on his own to score one of the most phenomenal goals of all time.

The English bleat on and on abut this 'Hand of God' goal, forgetting that they themsleves had a goal allowed that never even crossed the line in a certain match 20 years previous.

England were robbed, he punched it into the net ! Where was the linesman / ref ? That said, the better team won on the day.

I was in Gran Canaria at the time in the hotel bar watching the game. You could hear the Germans in the hotel over the road cheer when the goal was allowed. Let's just say it was an interesting evening in the Kazbah that night.

I can remember watching the match and seeing him do the hand ball, and thinking the little s**t got away with it.
