John Candy stars as Uncle Buck, the last-minute and last-resort baby sitter who looks after his brother's children. Uncle Buck is a slob and is detested by his brother's teenage daughter although he gets on brilliantly with the two younger children (Macaulay Culkin stars).

A good comedy and one of John Candy's most memorable films.

    Another John Candy corker of a film. I decided that when I was to be an uncle, I wanted to be as cool as Buck!

    fab film. macaulay culkin and john candy, very funny. used to watch this all the time as a kid. "you have much more hair in your nose than my dad" - "how kind of you to notice!" - "i'm a kid, that's my job!!"
