The Sullivans

This Memory is looking a little short on nostalgia! Have you got anything you could add?

Wartime drama set in Australia in the 1930's. Really quite good acting at times, especially from Lorraine Bayley -- the matriarch of the whole tribe. Sad, happy and addictive in its time.

I loved this show. I think my love of history came from drama like this. My nana used to watch it and always said it portrayed the era really well as she lived through the depression and WW2 in Australia.

this was the best soap to come out of Oz. I used to watch this every day with my sister, We shed many a tear over this soap. and it was very informative, did it ever get realesed on disc? I would buy it to watch all over again.

Oh I remember this well it started off showing you the whole family in colour and at the end they all posed for a photo (in b/w) the guy had a one of those posing smiles where he frowned and Mrs. Mangle off Neighbours was in it.
