    A great, very stirring, theme song. Great action, as you have put. I was only 7 to 8 when watching it, but used to thoroughly enjoy it. I did not at the time realise the historical context , but several years ago I checked up on it. It is about the Franco-Spanish War, with the Burgundians being allies of the Spanish. Most of the action is between the French in general and the Burgundians.

    Nostalgia isn't what it used to be. I do not yet have, but am looking to get The Flashing Blade on DVD. The theme song is great. The lyrics are extremely stirring.p
